So, these last few months have been rather apocalyptical for me. First was the paper on Medieval apocalypses, you know - the book of revelation. The first book I read over break was Night Watch (I wrote about it last summer when I watched the movie). Its mildly apocalyptic, dealing mostly with the destructions of Moscow. Then I read World War Z which is a very fun book about those who survived the Zombie Wars. Very entertaining, and quite an interesting commentary on our current body politic.
Last evening I went to watch Children of Men with Emitt, Michael and Malcolm. That move was non-stop action and a total adrenaline rush for two hours. Crazy good. But it too was a post-apocalyptic scenario of the world.
Is my sub-conscious trying to tell me something ?
