I like TOOL. I’m not as much of a fan of A Perfect Circle (same singer/writer) I still like them. But anyway…. I am listening to TOOL right now (Ænima). The best way to describe their music is dark-metal - if you’ve EVER seen a TOOL video, they’re very dark and odd. Anyway - I need to listen to aggressive music right now. My communications class is driving me INSANE. It’s like I’m at a summer camp for kids with low self esteem. Today we talked about self-concept. We (and no I’m not exaggerating) took a piece of notebook paper, wrote six words on how to describe ourselves and then she walked around gave us each a piece of tape and we had to tape this piece of paper to ourselves and walk around the room and let others see what we wrote while reading what others wrote about themselves.
Here is what I wrote:
Between classes, she plays music. Today’s selection was Phil Collins. To make matters worse the ADHD Asian kid wanted to see my iPod - so I had to take my earbuds out and listen to both him AND Phil Collins.
For Monday our birkenstock-wearing professor wants us to bring in a poster board covered with stuff that tells everyone about us. We will sit in a circle and share this information with everyone else in the class. I am sure at some point, at least one person will cry and that we may all break out in song.
I wish I was one of those babies.

FunnyI am reminded of something someone once told me in an American History class. I don’t know if it is true or not.. it really doesn’t matter. I guess the Spanish Conquistadors used to grab native babies, and swing them by their feet and then bash their heads into trees. (Obviously, this killed the baby.)

I’m guessing said song will be kumbaya. And then you’ll have a group hug.

Either that or it will be “Some where over the Rainbow” I bet Rich is going to have a big RAINBOW in the center of his poster board for class on Monday!
