The night the lights went out

Tonight we had another haboob, but this one was followed by a real storm that dumped real water.  LOTS of it.  The wind was so strong that branches came off, trees bent over and – in a throw back to the days of yore in Kansas – my POWER went out.  It was quite exciting except that my air conditioner didn’t work, and it was 95 and really humid outside.  Gross. I had to drink my beers to keep them from getting warm.

I abandoned Mr. B and went to get dinner and cause troubles elsewhere in locations that had electricity.  Shenanigans ended with Emitt and I watching Night of the Lepus (yay NetFlix).  Giant Killer Bunnies.  Nuff said.
