I haven’t posted much about the last week or so - hehe - So I will do a REAL QUICK recap:

Wednesday: Patrick’s 23rd birthday. Sake bombs, sushi, Mexican food, home for nap, 303, Tootsies, Home. Spent way to much money. 3:00 AM Shawn calls, he can’t get Patrick out of the car. Patrick is passed out in the car and won’t move! HAhaha Silly homo’s. Got pictures & video to remind him what not to do next year for his birthday.

Thursday: sleep, sun, sleep.

Friday: Drink @ Dixie Belle with Shawn - hung out with Brad, Mikey and Andy. Good times. Drooled over cute barback with mohawk again. woof.

Saturday: Pizza & Beer with Shawn & Brian. Patrick out of town, me keeping Shawn out of trouble.

Sunday: Not feeling good, Shawn goes out with friend of his, I miss out.

Monday: Wine tasting at Bar Natasha, get tipsy on good wine, good food and good conversation, good friends (Jason, Patrick & Shawn).

Today: Helping Super Sexy Stud Wombat Lee move to his new digs.

Thursday: Kangamini is going on a date….

This weekend: Fag Fest (aka Gay Pride) weekend. I dunno how much I’m going to go this year, since all the acts are.. well.. kinda gay. Maybe I will take my lawn chair, smuggle in some booze and people watch (aka make fun of the smacktards).

The Clouds

As I was laying out on the deck this afternoon, there were lots of clouds. Enough so that they actually blocked out most of the sun and I just kinda lay there, staring out the clouds. They seemed to be moving in so many directions without any idea where they were going to end up. Different layers went in different directions.

So much like my life right now.

Top Ten Things Samuel L. Jackson Should Have Said in the Star Wars Prequel

10. You don’t need to see my goddamn identification, ’cause these ain’t the motherfuckin’ droids you’re looking for.

9. Womp rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I’ll never know, ’cause I’d never touch the filthy motherfucker.

8. This is your father’s lightsaber. When you absolutely, positively, have to kill every motherfuckin’ stormtrooper in the room … accept no substitutes.

7. If Obi-Wan ain’t home then I don’t know what the fuck we’re gonna do. I ain’t got no other connections on Tatooine.

6. Feel the Force, Motherfucker.

5. ‘What’ ain’t no planet I’ve ever heard of! Do they speak Bocce on ‘What’?

4. You sendin’ the Fett? Shiat, Hutt, that’s all you had to say!

3. Yeah, Chewie’s got a hair problem. What the brother gonna do? He’s a Wookie.

2. Does Jabba the Hutt look like a biatch? Then why are you tryin’ to fuck him like one?

1. Hand me my lightsaber… it’s the one that says, ‘Bad Ass Mother Fucker.’

Anthropology: A
Chem II Lecture: C
Chem II Lab: B
Weight Training: A
Adv. Photography: A
Communications: A

Term GPA: 3.40
JCCC GPA: 3.31
Cumulative GPA: 3.01

HAHAHAH My Cumulative is now over a 3!! WOOHOO!!! I knew my Chem Lecture grade was gonna suck so I was ready for it. What hurts the most is that its a 4 hour class, so the C stings juuuust a little bit more than with a normal 3 hour class. *sigh* Oh well. I’m still happy over all - especially since I’M GOING TO ARIZONA!!! YIPPIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kanga’s Movie Collection

Aurorealis has hit me with a blogging chain letter. It is only the first I’ve been hit with, and I was already planning a post similar to this anyway, so here goes nothing…

1) Total Number of Films I own:
According to my handy little DVD cataloguing program DVDpedia, I have 146 DVD’s worth an approximate value of $3300 (MSRP). Glad I have renters insurance. Feel free to browse my collection.

2) The Last Film I Purchased:
Uhm… I can’t remember? It was something that came out not to long ago… I wish I could remember. LOL :O

3) The Last Film I Watched:
Starwars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

4) Five Films I Watch Often:
Full Metal Jacket - R. Lee Ermey makes me laugh EVERY time I see this movie.
Event Horizon - I don’t know why - but I seriously LOVE this movie. It is pure evil.
The Boondock Saints - Another Evil movie.
Strange Days - GREAT SciFi movie about Y2K
Heathers - No explanation Needed.

5) Tag five people to participate: CorruptedDolie, Musical Chairs, KidNextDo, Tick76er and Garrett.

WOO!!!!

What kind of a Lesbian is Kanga?

KangaBlabba 2 Comments »
Kanga scored as The Femme Fatale: carefree, dark and adventurous…and slightly fatale to the heart.

What Type of Lesbian Are You? (Inspired by Curve Mag.)

As I write this post, I am watching Queer as Folk - but only because there’s scenes of hot naked men in it because the story/acting in it SUCKS.

Friday night I went and saw Revenge of the Sith with my beloved wombat, Lee. We actually left early and met up at Jalapenos and had yummy Mexican food before the flick, since we were both quite hungarian. We still had plenty of time to waste so we wound our way to fun places like the Apple Store (full of cute homosexuals on dates), Barns & Noble (full of cute homosexuals on dates), and Urban Outfitters (closed at the time, but the front window had lots of cute homosexuals on dates looking in). While waiting for the movie to start, we were entertained by the rather precocious and flamboyant princess that sat down in front of us. You know the type, the ones that look and act so painfully gay that you want to slap them and tell them that it isn’t necessary?? Swish.. swish… swish….

Saturday was Queer Eye for the Straight Guy day for me - My old co-worker Jerad drove in from Lawrence and wanted me to help him go shopping! The first place we went to was Hot Topic where I got an AWESOME belt buckle.. not only is it super fun, but it was on SALE! So I am now the proud owner of a nice big shiny belt buckle that says DORK EhEHEHehheHEheHe. Fun times! At another store at the mall I found some pants that I really dig and can’t wait to find an appropriate venue to wear them at. The Cubbies called me up as Jerad and I were heading to another shopping spot on a quest for shoes, so we met them up at 39th street shopping area and Jerad found some excellent shoes. At the same store I found my newest Devil Duckies… ON SALE!!!! It was a good day to shop my friends ;) The duckies at the top of this page are my latest addition to the collection. :-D We also made a quick stop on the Plaza and went into Urban Outfitters, since it was their opening weekend. I used to go into the one in Lawrence a lot, but lately I have been hard pressed to find anything in there that I really wanted. Having no job and no extra money also has something to do with it. UO is kinda pricey.

Later that evening, around 10:15 or so, I met Shawn and Patrick back down on the Plaza to watch Starwars again. We were joined by a bunch of leather men from the bar and pretty much had the theatre to ourselves for the movie. Now this particular theatre has a No Chirruns policy - they don’t let in crying babies, or really young kids. Unfortunately, some kids still get in and last night - with a nearly empty theatre, guess where the family with kids decided to sit. That’s right, two seats down from Kanga. The kid wasn’t the problem this time tho, it was the parents that had to keep talking to the kid for some reason. Let the kid sleep!! What do you expect when you drag a kid to a movie at 11pm?!?

Which brings me to the movie itself. Now that I have seen it twice, I feel comfortable in being able to talk about it. The bad guys win in this movie. So automatically, it gets two opposable thumbs up from me, since I *LOVE* movies when the bad guys win. I also rate this movie well since Padme, played by Natalie Portman, DIES in it. Natalie needs acting lessons.

Hayden Christiansen (Anakin Skywalker) was dreamy and creamy as could be expected, except in the scenes where he tries to act sweet and cuddly with Natalie. George Lucas should never be allowed to write love dialogue ever again. Ever.

Everything else about the movie was delicious - even the Wookies!

I am even MORE excited about the line up of movies for the remainder of the summer however. The Fantastic Four looks to be all yummy delicious eyecandy with Chris Evans playing The Human Torch (and yeah, he is HOT HOT HOT in the previews). Batman Begins with Kanga’s favorite Christian Bale looks scrumptious. The preview for “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” looked amazing, I must start reading those before I see the movie. Yum.

Kanga out!

The Showgirl is OK!
