Sunday is my birthday. My mom had a long standing tradition of sending my grandmother flowers on my mom’s birthday. So when my grandmother passed away, and my mom no longer had anyone to send flowers too, I took up the slack.

So thanks mom, I appreciate all you did and still do for me.

I got the following email from my friend Neal recounting the storm damage a friend of his had recently:
With all the news on TV lately about the extreme weather conditions affecting the South Coast of the US, the mud slides in the Middle East, Puerto Rico, and South America, along with the dire predictions made by such films as ‘The Day After Tomorrow’, we shouldn’t forget that the Midwest has its share of devastating weather too.
I’ve attached a photo illustrating the damage caused to a friend’s home from the storm that passed through NW Wisconsin last night. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take things for granted.
God bless us all.

Ok so whilst doing my daily blog perusing I saw this on the Manolo Shoe Blog.

Of course my favorite comment on the thread so far was
“Mr. Willis looks as if he’s just been “Punk’d” in a BIG WAY.” TeeHee.

On boston.com’s Top-50 Sci-Fi shows of all time, my beloved
Battlestar Galactica came in at #2. Second only to the original Star Trek series and only because it is still such a new show. I agree that it is nice to pay homage to the past but ANYONE who has seen
BSG must agree that it is SO much better than the original Star Trek. It is so much better you need a logarithmic scale to even compare the two. That awesome.
[EDIT]
THE SHOCK! THE HORROR!! Yes you’ve seen this post before, but I am re-posting it. I have removed any link to said boston.com website because, as my super-sexy friend Lee discovered that they left
Farscape off of the entire top 50 list. For that they are de-linked. **spits** [/EDIT]

That loud thud you just heard was my GPA. Hitting the floor.
My organic test was about as I expected it to be. As soon as I got out of the test, I ran to the restroom and threw up. Not a good sign. Got to my Spanish class and she handed back the tests from last last Friday. Stomach turned again.
I talked to one of the brothers this morning and he said that Pledge stuff for SPB will be less intense now that we don’t have interviews to do. Last week I had to interview all 19 of the brothers in the fraternity. I added it up, and I spent between 25 and 30 hours going-to, conducting and leaving interviews. That directly impacted my study time. I am going to talk with one of the pledgemasters today to make sure what I heard is correct. I really want this, but I can’t flunk out of school for it.

I am unhappy right now. Last night was a total toss-n-turn fest.. no sleep whatsoever. I have an Organic Chem. mid-term today. I’m not going to do well. I am tired, I am restless and I am stressed.
Things are not going well.
I don’t know what to do.
