So I have a hot pixel on my Canon 20D

Must send in for repairs :(  The little red dot in the red square below is how you see it at a 16.5% reduction of the original pictures size.  The giant red dot in the white box is 500% blowup of the original size.  The red-dot appears in the last 100 or so pictures I’ve taken.  I took the camera to Tempe Camera today and they confimed.  Sad

Today I finally had an opportunity to discuss my photography portfolio with a professor and get answers.  So I am feeling kinda good and kinda bad.  Some of the answers confirmed what I’d already been told, namely that it was NOT my GPA or any other stupid glitch that kept me out of upper division, nor was it my technical abilities for printing etc.  Some of the answers now have me considering what my artistic vision / purpose / passion in the field is.  I want to be a well rounded and accomplished photographer but I got the feeling that a portfolio that they look at needs to have subject consistency, which mine did not.

I must formulate an artistic vision!

I also reworked my schedule next semester to take Photo II from someone that would suit my needs better, according to the professor I talked with today..  I’m still enrolled for 18 hours, but one of the courses is now Online.  Gross.  BUT I’m not having to get up at 7:40 AM any more, eliminating the need for a 12+ hour day on campus.  Yay!

I have two 5-7 page papers to write, and 3 finals to study for.  Adieu.

Applebee’s now has fried pickle slices.
