I’m moving again - to a new web server that is.  Oh goody, I can’t wait to see what gets messed up this time.

w00t!  I’m all moved into my new apartment!  Now just to unpack.  I’m hopefully going to be unpacked a lot faster than my last move.. I was still unpacking after about 6 months.. oops..

The nice part about being in a fraternity is pledges.  They’re a wonderful source of labor, and labor they did.  I had 11 of them hauling boxes down and back up stairs and packing the UHAUL for me!  It was very nice until they got too cocky and decided to go mascot hunting in my things.  They managed to steal the Lambda class mascot but I threw such a huge fit and lied about it being something else that they gave it back to me.  Amatures.  Anyway, I dismembered it and gave them a few chunks to add onto their mascot and later on this semester, perhaps at our fall retreat, we can torch the remains and retire it forever.

This week is hopefully much less stressful than last week.  My 15″ PowerBook is at the Apple store and I miss it a lot already.  tear

Anyway.. I’m all moved in!  Yay!  Very excited.  If you want the address email me and I’ll send it to you if you haven’t already gotten an email.

I just took the most awfull test in my Sociology class :(  I felt like I had no time to prepare for it and had to do everything last minute because all my other classes and social obligations this week have taken up so much time.  I REALLY hope I did well enough on it to not fuck my overall grade up too much.  sigh  I’m probably just being paranoid but when you focus so hard on Positivism, Critical Theory, Postmodern/Texual, Constructionisism and all the other theories and ideas presented they all start to run together and get mushed up in my brain.

The fact that I was in a really foul mood last night when I FINALLY got home at 9pm to start studying didn’t help with the studying.

Bargh!!

Today I take my computer to the Apple store in Chandler mall to get him fixed.

I just made happy noises! My Battlestar Galactica Season 2.5 DVD’s should arrive either tomorrow or Wednesday. This makes me teh happeh!!

I think I have too much sugar in my blood.

In other news, I seem to have lost my bananas. I had two of them, and I do not recall eating them. Mr. B doesn’t have banana breath, so I don’t suspect him. Perhaps it could have been Jeremy - but he doesn’t eat anything that isn’t deep-fried and served with a side of ranch or marinara.

Did someone steal my bananas?

Only 18 days until Season Three of Battlestar Galactica premiers!!

Jeremy and I signed our lease at the new apartment today… We’re both very excited, most especially since now Jeremy has a room and won’t have to continue sleeping on the sofa in the living room!  Very exciting stuff…

So far I’m not too impressed with the management at Rancho Murieta.  They pushed our move in back from the 1st to the 8th to the 11th and then to the 15th.  Then today, as we are signing the leases they inform us that they have discovered a crack in one of the tubs and will have to re-seal it or something.  When they do that no one can be in the apartment because of the fumes.  Isn’t this something they should have taken care of in the TWO WEEKS that the unit was vacant?  Meh.

Oh well.  I’m thinking I’ll hit up UHAUL and make an IKEA run with Jeremy so that I can get some furniture.  I need a desk/table/workspace and a dresser.  He needs some bedroom furniture as well.  YAY!

(By the way, Emitt has informed me on the evening of last that he is unhappy with the way he has been portrayed on this blog.  In order to ensure that he is represented as accurately as possible I shall be posting nude photos of him in the next week or so. Stay tuned!)

I also found out today that one of my long-time-ago friends Sam (the one that always called me from Iraq or Afghanistan, he’s in the Army) is going to the TOOL concert in KC.  I bribed him into getting me a t-shirt!  I’m excited since I had to miss TOOL not only at Gammage in the spring, but also this fall because that was an important night with the fraternity.  Hooray!

I just got a phone call from my new little brother in the pledge class!  He’s the second one I’ve had and he is the president of his pledge class too!

That makes me a happy kitty!

Two pledges failed to arrive to their first meeting.. tsk tsk.. that makes 12 pledges now :O
