Its hard to imagine, but this semester is nearly over - we really only have three or four weeks of classes left (with Thanksgiving break tossed in too) and its getting busy. That paper I was writing about 13th Century English Apocalypses (Medieval illuminated manuscripts of the Book of Revelation) is over, but now I’m behind in pretty much every other class. My photo teacher is pretty cool about it, and I told her I was going to spend lots of time in open lab and try to get her two prints a day until I’m caught up… so that will be most of this week and a portion of next week. I have an 8-10 page paper due in my Sociology class, and then my Color Theory final project.. ..bah!
I am excited about most of my classes next semester.. I got all the classes I wanted yay so that is a plus. Oh, and no classes on Friday either! w00t!!
Monday’s and Wednesday’s I have Sociological Research and Painting 1. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s I have Wood 1 and Native American Art of the Southwest. The earliest I start is 10.40 and the latest I go is 4.30. Oh, and I have an Internet class in Homogay studies. 15 hours. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I have to submit my photo portfolio for the second and final time in March, so I’ll be stressed about that, but I think the next semester should go smoothly

I’m very proud to be an Arizonan right now:
Anti-gay marriage measure loses in Arizona
By Bob Baum- Associated Press - Nov. 8, 2006 06:36 AM
Voters in the historically conservative state of Arizona have become the first in the nation to reject a ballot measure banning same-sex marriage.
Twenty-seven other states have approved anti-gay marriage ballot measures, including seven on Tuesday. But by 51 percent to 49 percent, Arizonans voted down Proposition 107, which would have amended the state’s Constitution to ban same-sex marriage.
The deciding aspect may have been the broad reach of the measure.
Same-sex marriage already was illegal under state law, but not as part of the Constitution. Proposition 107 would have barred government entities - such as the state, cities, counties, universities and school districts - from recognizing any relationship similar to marriage, such as civil unions or domestic partnerships, in providing benefits to their employees.
This is such wonderful news - I voted against a similar measure when I was still living in Kansas and I’m glad to be in the first state in the Union to reject such a proposition. w00!!
But the work isn’t done kids - just because the Dem’s have the house and may tie with the senate doesn’t mean things automatically get better. There’s still lots of shit to do as far as US Foreign Policy, Tax Cuts, Health Care, etc.

Ugh.. Last night Mr. B managed to sneak his way out the back door past Jeremy whilst Jeremy was doing his laundry. Mr. B was outside ALL NIGHT LONG until I realized his furry presence was missing this morning as I was waking up.
Of course I was running around like a panicked mad-man looking for him high and low, and eventually found him on someone else’s back porch. I’m not sure who to be more upset with, the cat or the Jeremy. I’m just glad Mr. B is back safe and un-damaged. STUPID CAT.

I got a new phone yesterday! A shiny new SonyEricsson w810i - it has a 2 Megapixel camera and can double as a walkman if necessary! It also does video and all sorts of other crazy thing that I have yet to discover. My first camera phone was a SonyEricsson from T-Mobile. (Back in April 2004…)

Today, for the first time in my life, I saw with my own two eyes a man who has been President of the United States. I am super lucky that it was my favorite, Bill Clinton. He was at ASU stumping for Harry Mitchel (for House of Rep.) and Jim Pederson (for Senate). It was very inspiring - I’m just upset that I didn’t have my big camera with me like a good boy. Instead I had 40lbs of books from Inter Library Loan. Bah!
