Today started with an early rise to get some studying in before I went off to classes. I had a three hour critique in my wood sculpture class, followed by a two hour test that was only supposed to be an hour and a half. The dingbat professor didn’t plan her timing out very well and we ended up only having 10 minutes to write our essay portion of the test. DUH.

So back home I went in order to figure out what photos I wanted to take to my portfolio pre-review session tonight. I was hoping that it would go quickly and that there wouldn’t be very many people there so I could get some quality time in. Neither of those happened. We ended up spending 3 hours in a marathon critique, that I am sure left EVERYONE drained.

I’m starving by that point so a few of the boys and I go to Boston’s for dinner, then I finally get home about midnight. At which point its time for me to do my homework, which it being 4:00am I have now finished. So I’m going to try to get some sleep and hopefully not sleep through my class at 10:40.

But I don’t know how easy that is going to be since there is something LOUD and industrial going on outside and its transmitting very easily through my single-pane window. Sigh.

Last night I went to bed at a pretty early time, and about an hour later I was awoken by doors slamming and the sound of showering. Then I could hear my neighbors (the ones we call Durka Durka) outside talking on their phone because apparently EVERYONE in the apartment complex needs to hear their business at 130am. Then, right before I give up and take some Tylenol PM, I can hear the roommate playing a DVD or a CD or something through my wall and over my iPod.

Then this morning I’m trying to make some breakfast when I have to arrange half-drank Whataburger cups on the counter so I can open the microwave, and I miss noticing the coffee beans sitting half on the door and half on the top of the microwave, so I send THEM flying across the kitchen when I open the microwave door. A few moments later after cleaning them up I again open the microwave only to send a fucking GLASS sailing over the edge to shatter into a hundred pieces because its nicely hidden right next to the gargantuan GNC Protein jar.

The only reason I point out any of this is because it is PROOF that the world is out to get me and destroy any sense of sanity that I once held. And it isn’t like anyone (other than durka durka) has done anything necessarily wrong… I’m just a crazy paranoid person that jumps to conclusions and lets the crazy take over which is like a giant snowball effect. BAH.

Sorry I haven’t posted anything lately. The fraternity has been keeping me busy with rush and now our new pledge class. I’m a big-brother again this semester which is nice. Right now I’m sick so I’m just not very chatty for the blogging.

J.K. Rowling has announced that July 21, 2007 will be the release date for the final installment of the Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  Oh boy!

Also in the news are the pictures of one Mr. Daniel Radcliffe (a.k.a. Harry from the movies) who is playing a role in the play Equus.  Him’s naked!  And likely showing more than Dumbledore would probably allow…
