Wow.
I just got back from watching 28 Weeks Later.
Very intense, though I don’t think I screamed as much as in the past. But it was really intense.
Tonight’s viewing of 28 Weeks Later officially kicks off annus corporis viventis which is (hopefully) Year of the Zombie in Latin (literally it should translate to year of the living corpse, or something close!).
The technical beginning of the Year of the Zombie isn’t for another 26 days 16 hours and change (Sunset, June 8th, Mountain Standard Time is when it really starts), but I had to start writing about zombies now, mostly because I just saw a Zombie movie. My goal until next summer is to be all about the zombies. I’ve already almost purchased $110 worth of books on Zach off of amazon.com but my senses got the best of me. But don’t worry, I’ll have a lapse in judgement soon and buy some of them.
Remember: Last year, bunnies; this year, zombies.
Got it?
Awesome.
New Flickr Set.

“Well, then,” the Cat went on, “you see, a dog growls when it’s angry, and wags its tail when it’s pleased. Now I growl when I’m pleased, and wag my tail when I’m angry. Therefore I’m mad.” “I call it purring, not growling,” said Alice. “Call it what you like,” said the Cat.
I’ve been FIGHTING with my scanner trying to get it to work on the computer for the last few days. So I was flitting around on the support website and looking at the list of available drivers and came to a realization - I’ve been dyslexically reading my scanners model number as 4990, not 4490. DUH.
Installed the right drivers and, amazingly enough, everything works now.
